You ever meet anyone and just automatically think “these are my people!”? Well that is exactly how I felt when I met Lauren and Zach for the first time for their engagement session. I felt like we had so much in common and we’re instant friends!

Lauren and Zach are college sweethearts who met through mutual friends while attending Eastern Illinois University. Their relationship grew there and when college was over, Lauren moved back to Zach hometown with him and the rest is history! Zach really adores Lauren and that is why he used one of her favorite places on Earth–Disney World to propose to her. He got down on one knee in front of Cinderella’s castle with her family watching. Of course Lauren said yes!

I loved getting to know Lauren and Zach during their engagement session. We hopped around Washington Park Botanical Gardens and found some really great spots. Zach makes Lauren laugh easily which is wonderful because she has a beautiful smile! I loved their laid back attitudes and just pure excitement for their upcoming marriage. I am even more excited now for their wedding next year and cannot wait to share more from their engagement session!
